Revenge of the Monday

D. spent a total of 40 hours from Friday to this morning playing World of Warcraft. He took little naps in between and took a break on Saturday for his gaming group so he could play X-Crawl. At no point this weekend did he acknowledge me in any real way. We had two or three brief conversations, on the way to and from places.

For my part, I had an awesome weekend. I drew a portrait I'm proud of, I got a new book, I spent time with Missy, I sat around a campfire, and I was just generally out doing things. Those weekends are the best. If I am home less than 12 hours during a weekend, I consider it a success.

The plans for this week look pretty promising as well. C. wants to go to Revenge of the Nerds night at Asylum tonight, and keeps trying to talk me into being dragged along. Then cribbage night at C. & M.'s and probably a lot of drawing. I <3 my new drawing book so hard. Now I just need new pencils. I can apparently work well in nothing but HB, but I'd prefer to have options.

Other that that, M.T.'s party is coming up next month, so I will probably be getting a lump of cash for that. I'm hoping to talk a few local coffee shops into carrying my art, or at least some of my crafts, so that should add somewhat more of a regularity to my income, thank God.

I'm sure I have other stuff to talk about, but my brain is on hiatus right now, so rather than bash my head into the keys over and over until I remember, I'll just quit while I'm still ahead. Or at least quasi-coherent.
